Who we are

StationScore is operated by StationScore ("we", "us"). We provide training records, equipment testing records, and estimated ISO PPC scores to fire departments and fire districts ("departments"). You can reach us at hello@example.com.

Information we collect

From visitors to our website

• Information you give us in forms, such as your name, email, phone, title, and department.
• Basic technical information, such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working.

From departments using the service

• Staff account details, such as name and email.
• Roster information a department enters about its members, such as name, role, start date, phone number, and email.
• Training, attendance, apparatus, and equipment testing records, including files the department uploads.
• A log of changes to those records, including who made each change and when.

How we use information

• To provide the service to the department, including projected scores, reminders, and reports.
• To email staff reminders and send members their personal training links.
• To respond to questions, demo requests, and quote requests.
• To keep the service secure, fix problems, and improve it.

Who we share information with

• The department that owns the records, and the staff that department authorizes.
• Service providers that help us run StationScore, such as hosting, database, email, and payment providers. They may use information only to provide services to us.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

We do not sell personal information.

Department records

Records entered by a department belong to that department. Departments can export their records at any time. Departments that are government entities may be subject to public records laws; requests for a department's records should go to that department.

Security and retention

We isolate each department's records, encrypt data in transit and at rest, keep daily backups, and keep a log of changes. We keep department records for as long as the department has an account, and for a reasonable period afterward so the department can export them, unless the department asks us to delete them sooner or the law requires otherwise.

Your choices

• Ask your department, or email us, to update or remove your information.

Children

StationScore is intended for adult staff and members of fire departments. Departments are responsible for following applicable law for any junior or explorer program members they choose to enter.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and tell department admins about material changes.
